Outside the Vase: Florals for YOU

I can’t tell you how many brides I have that have no idea what kind of florals they want. Some of them have very clear visions of….carrying flowers. Some have pinterest boards full of incredible textures and colors and have no idea how to narrow it down. Choosing florals can be so hard! The typical bride doesn’t know what exactly is in season, what’s orderable, doable, and realistic for their wedding day.

I’m here to tell you to THROW AWAY THE PLAY BOOK. We do what YOU want at Blossom Bliss. We make YOUR dreams florals come true. And guess what!? I’m here to help you narrow it down, create your dream florals together, cause this is more than just a bunch of flowers you’re going to hold: this is your art. Your expression of love, of tenderness, of your fresh, feminine self.

There are a few things you need to know about me and what kind of floral design I do. Because it’s not just throwing some flowers together in a vase and calling it a day: it’s an art. I like to get to know you so that when this bouquet makes it into your hands, it’s all about you. Your bouquet is a combination of the very best of your wedding day. It makes it into all of the pictures, the family photos, the detail shots at the beginning, middle, and end of the day. It’s the thing that you dry and display in your bedroom. The thing that paintings are made of, and songs are sung about, and….I digress.

Your bouquet brings it all together. The colors you chose, the aesthetic, they capture the feeling of your day. They can be a simple round bouquet of classic white roses. They can say “hi, I’m betty. I love long walks on the beach”. They can also say, “we’re eating tacos from a food truck after this and I’m STOKED”. They could say, “I’m wild and free and perfectly composed all at once”. Whatever your bouquet says, it’s gotta be you.

Above, you see two different bouquets. One looks pretty “traditional”. It has colorful florals, greens, and ribbons. When you look closer, you can see that it’s not symmetrical. It has life, and volume, and its balanced in a nonchalant sort of way. It make you look twice, and then once more, and then, after noticing all of its unique traits, you can’t help but fall in love with it. Kind of like you, huh?

The second bouquet is all greens. You may see boring. But look again! There are leaves with pink markings, green berries, and the freshest greenery smell you’ll ever breathe in while walking down the aisle. The whole bunch of greens will take you to that memory of when you were ten and your mom stopped at the flower shop for some roses. You know, the cool, damp smell of growth. This bouquet feels like new growth, which, let’s be real, is exactly how a wedding day smells. Right? (just nod along with me here)

There are SO MANY places to go when choosing your wedding day florals. From greens, to tropicals, to berries and branches… we’ll move mountains for ya, girl.
